Linda Nguyen is a Texas native in hot pursuit of good food, adventure, and laughter.

She is a consummate content creator, with a few different blogs, an active Instagram feed, and her own sketch notes and #DoodlesAboutFeelings series. Previously, she ran a multi-contributor YouTube vlogging channel called Totes Awesome.

Linda has really hit the scene in recent years with her hugely popular Girl Eats World food blog, where she shares her favorite sports and eats in Austin, Texas, and as she travels around the world.

A never-ending source of kindness and inspiration, she also co-wrote the book 3 Things, with Kim Arenas, a gratitude journal that encourages readers to take a few minutes each day to stop and give thanks for three things.

This Week’s Guest: Linda Nguyen

What You’ll Learn About Writing This Week:

  • The importance of keeping a journal or record of your thoughts to find inspiration.
  • Finding opportunities in your sites and writing that might not make you money.
  • Incorporating other people into your creative life for support and accountability.
  • How to use your content to communicate with people (or knowing when NOT to do this).
  • Why people love reading stories more than the “why’s”.
  • How one snapshot or caption can turn into something that moves people enough to start a movement.
