Taylor Berger holds an MFA in Screenwriting from the University of California, Los Angeles, and graduated Summa Cum Laude in Film Studies and Creative Writing from the University of Colorado, Boulder. Taylor has pursued a career in writing since she was seven years old, and has worked as an editor, a content manager, a ghostwriter, a creative development lead, and a screenwriter. When she’s not writing, Taylor is usually busy blowing through an average of 75 books per year, curating Spotify playlists, or binge-watching horror movies.

I believe in this principle, even though it isn’t always the popular opinion: The best writing is accessible to everyone. It’s great that you know so many big words, but you’re telling a story — not competing in a vocabulary contest.
